KB Stun Bullets To Maintain Top Position

Kamuzu Barracks FC on Saturday 13th July 2019 narrowly beat TNM Super league defending champions Nyasa Big Bullets 1-0 to maintain lead at the top of the log table.

The soldiers now have 26 points from 11 games followed by Mighty Be Forward Wanderers who are on second with 25 points.

The Nomads have maintained position two following their impressive 4-1 win over visiting TN Stars. However, the Nomads have a slight advantage over KB as they have a game in hand.

Silver Strikers have moved to fourth position after seeing off Dwangwa United 2-1 in a match played at the Chitowe Stadium.

Michael Tete and Khuda Muyawa were on target for the Bankers while Blessings Singing scored the consolation for Dwangwa.

At the Mzuzu Stadium, Civil Sporting started their northern region tour on a high note after beating Mzuni 2-1 thanks to Fletcher Bandawe’s brave while Collen Nkhulambe scored the consolation for the Green Intellectuals.

The log standings are likely to change on Sunday as some teams will be in action.

The centre of attraction will be Nankhaka Stadium where Blue Eagles play host to Silver Strikers.

Nyasa Big Bullets will be looking forward to recover from their 1-0 loss as they face Masters Security at Dedza Stadium.

Civil will face Moyale Barracks at Mzuzu while Ntopwa face wounded TN Stars at Kamuzu Stadium.
