Nyasa Big Bullets FC has confirmed selling striker Muhammad Sulumba to South Africa’s Premier Soccer League side Polokwane City at R370,000 (K20 million).
And the club is buying in new players as 2018 league season approaches.
Sulumba who has been training with Polokwane since December last year has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract. The 23-year-old joins the likes of Rodney Ramagalela and Rendani Ndou in the attack for Bernard Molekwa’s side.
Sulumba joins the likes of Atusaye Nyondo, Gabadinho Mhango, Robert Ng’ambi, Limbikani Mzava and Robin Ngalande on the list of Malawian players plying their trade in the Absa Premiership.
Meanwhile, the Nyasa Big Bullets have signed in new players in readiness of new season set to start in April.
Bullets have since signed 22-year-old Precious Phiri on a 3-year contract as a free agent. Phiri was playing for Azam Tigers last season. They have also signed in striker, Patrick Phiri from the relegated Premier Bet Wizards. Phiri signed a 3-year contract on Friday.
On Tuesday this week, the red army signed two Under-20 players for the Reserve side, namely Patrick Mwaungulu and Felix Dumakude from Sanweka FC of Mzuzu. The two will join the squad at the end of this month.
Meanwhile, defender Emmanuel Zoya is in Zambia where he is expected to undergo a 2-week trial with a Lusaka-based top-flight Red Arrows FC. The left-back, who had a remarkable performance in the 2017 season, flew to the neighboring country on Saturday.NE
